D’Angelos’ orders for 4/28 due Thursday

NO Hot Lunch Wednesday 4/16 due to Health Fair

As of tomorrow, April 15^th, the summer uniform may be worn. Please remember that sneakers may be worn only with shorts or skorts, and of course with the gym uniform.

(Parents, please use your discretion when dressing the children for the weather.) The regular uniform may be worn throughout the year.

Re-registration must be returned by this Thursday, April 17^th.

Re-registration materials were sent home on March 14^th. If your child is not returning to St. Bridget School next year please send Mrs. Mungovan a note, thank you.

Any Framingham resident who received the Income Eligibility Guidelines form and hasn’t returned it yet, please do so ASAP. Thank You

Registration 2008-2009: We are accepting Admission Applications for the 2008-2009 school year. You need to send in your Application in order to be eligible for the screening process. Applications may be downloaded from our website at www.saintbridgetschool.info or you may call the school. ***screenings are only for students NEW to St. Bridget School. Those already in our school do not need screening (nor do they need to reapply) to move from one year to the next.*** re-registration for current students takes place in the Spring (see above).

PTO NEWS:

Come One, Come All to the Spring Blood Drive. All donors are welcome on Wednesday, April 30th from 1PM-4PM! Please call Shauna Downey at 508-875-5208 or email at shauna_downey@hotmail.com to set up a time.
Spring has sprung and it is time again for the Mother-Daughter Brunch! As a new event last year, this was almost sold out and everyone really enjoyed it. This year’s brunch will be held at the Bella Costa Restaurant on Sunday May 18^th at 10:30 a.m. (after the Family Mass). Please see the invitation attached to the memo and return your reservation to the PTO Mailbox, Attn: Brunch. Tickets are limited, so send your reservation in ASAP! If you have any questions or would like to help with the planning of this event, please contact AnnMarie MacIsaac amacisaac@rcn.com or 508-405-4374.
Enrichment Program for April: Barbara McGrath, award-winning author, is coming to Saint Bridget School on April 30^th. She has written over twenty books for children, including The M&M Counting Book. Barbara graduated from Lasell College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Barbara is also a free-lance writer for local newspapers and has two books currently in production. A tireless speaker, Barbara has presented at hundreds of schools nation-wide since 1994. Her practical advice and humor makes her lectures informative and entertaining for children as well as adults. In addition, Ms. McGrath has founded a non-profit literacy program called Author’s Talk Too, Inc. Its mission is to bring published children’s book authors and illustrators to inner city or under-funded schools at no cost. Through Barbara McGrath’s generosity, Saint Bridget students will experience this inspirational presentation.

As of Monday, April 7^th, Jean Nigloschy has left her position as Administrative Assistant at St. Bridget’s. Jen Ryan has joined us in the Admissions Office for the remainder of the school year.
