K1-KIN Parents - The K1 and Kindergarteners DO NOT have school today, screening day, Monday, March 3rd.

2008-2009 Re-registration Info: Re-registration materials, (including tuition rates), will be sent out March 14^th and must be returned by April 17^th.

Rescheduled: Faculty Retreat: The Faculty Retreat, originally scheduled for Friday, March 14 has been rescheduled for Friday, March 7th. Therefore, there will be NO SCHOOL on the 7th and there WILL be school on the 14th.

Registration 2008-2009: We are accepting Admission Applications for the 2008-2009 school year. You need to send in your Application in order to be eligible for the screening process. Applications may be downloaded from our website at www.saintbridgetschool.info or you may call the school. For questions please contact Ms. Nigloschy @x229. . ***screenings are only for students NEW to St. Bridget School. Those already in our school do not need screening (nor do they need to reapply) to move from one year to the next.*** re-registration for current students takes place in the Spring (see above).

Chess club meeting has been rescheduled from Friday, 3/07, to Friday, 3/14, from 2:30 to 3:30pm in the Library.

All St. Vincent de Paul forms are due in the business office no later than March 1, 2008.

PTO NOTES:

PTO Meeting - Wednesday, March 5 at 7:30 - Join us for an exciting night of updates on new events and old favorites. Come find out how the Penny Drive is going! Get an update on Comedy Night! Learn about our new Father/Son Event! Many more fun events will be discussed! We'll also be hearing from our Kindergarten and Second Grade Teachers to find out what exciting things they have accomplished and what else is planned for the year!

With all of the changes in our weather this winter, it is nice to start thinking about spring and the warmer weather it will bring. Here at Saint Bridget School not only are we thinking about spring, but we are currently in the process of planning our 11^th Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held again at the beautiful Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow, Massachusetts and is scheduled for Monday, May 12^th, 2008. Please save the date, more information will be coming soon.

Comedy Night is set for March 28th. The cost is $20.00 per person and seating can be arranged for tables up to 10 people. The invitation flyer will be going home with students the week of February 25th. Anyone that would like to volunteer can contact John Kirwan at 508-881-3605

"3on3 Basketball Tournament" - Sunday, April 6,2008 @ Woodrow Wilson School from 1-5pm. Registration now available - see attached or website download. This is a fun recreational activity for our school community and will include Jr & Middle School Girls' Teams, Jr. & Middle School Boys' Teams, Women's Teams and a Men's Division. Pools will be determined based on registrations, so register early. Registration Fee is $40 per team (made payable to St Bridget PTO) - 3 games guaranteed (if less than 3 teams are registered for a division, the division will be cancelled and registration returned). Registration Deadline is Friday, March 14, 2008. Send all registrations in to Aimee Fagan - PE Department. Direct any questions to Aimee Fagan (508-376-9199). Girl Scout Sunday Come join us on Sunday, March 9^th at the 9:00 am Family Mass downstairs at St. Bridget Church as we celebrate Girl Scout Sunday. Those who would like to participate in the Mass as readers, altar servers, gift bearers, and door greeters are asked to call Mary Ann at 508-872-4989. Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniforms and sit at the front of the church in the reserved section.

BJ's Membership Fund Raiser Offer - Once again BJ's is offering discounted memberships through school. By participating you will receive $10 off the membership fee, receive a second card for an additional Household Member at no additional charge, be given three EXTRA months of membership, and our school will receive $5 for each new or renewed membership. Book Club News: The following students/families have recently donated books to the school's library: Alexandra R, Barrett P, Catie A, the Langmeyer Family, Taylor N, Alana R, Mr. & Mrs. Mungovan, and the Hughes, Smith and Marian Families. Thank you for all of the wonderful titles. If you would like to donate a book to the Library and need a suggestion, check out the Giving Tree for some new titles.
