The 50th Anniversary
Committee
met this past week and had the difficult task of choosing a slogan from its
list of entries. The winning slogan is "Celebrating
the Past, Creating the Future" submitted by the Garahan Family.
Thank you to everyone who contributed! The Committee appreciates
your support!
2008-2009
Re-registration Info:
Re-registration materials, (including tuition rates), will be sent out March 14th
and must be returned by April 17th.
Registration 2008-2009: We are accepting
Admission Applications for the 2008-2009 school year. You need to send in your Application in order
to be eligible for the screening process.
Applications may be downloaded from our website at www.saintbridgetschool.info or
you may call the school. For questions please contact Ms. Nigloschy @x229. .
***screenings are only for students NEW to St. Bridget School. Those
already in our school do not need screening (nor do they need to reapply) to
move from one year to the next.*** re-registration for current students takes
place in the Spring (see above).
There
will be two Open Houses for prospective families to St. Bridget School at the end of March. They will be
held on March 30th from 10am-2pm and March 31st from 9-11am.
Chess club meeting has been
rescheduled from Friday, 3/07, to Friday, 3/14, from 2:30 to 3:30pm
in the Library.

Basketball Tournament" - Sunday, April 6,2008 @
Woodrow Wilson School from 1-5pm.
Registration now available - see website download. This is a fun
recreational activity for our school community and will include Jr &
Middle School Girls' Teams, Jr. & Middle School Boys' Teams,
Women's Teams and a Men's Division. Pools will be determined based
on registrations, so register early. Registration Fee is $40 per
team (made payable to St Bridget PTO) - 3 games guaranteed (if less than 3
teams are registered for a division, the division will be cancelled and
registration returned). Registration
Deadline is Friday,
March 14, 2008.

- With all of the
changes in our weather this winter, it is nice to start thinking about spring
and the warmer weather it will bring.
Here at Saint Bridget School not only are we
thinking about spring, but we are currently in the process of planning our
11th Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held
again at the beautiful Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow, Massachusetts and is scheduled for
Monday, May 12th, 2008. Please save the date, more information will
be coming soon.
- Comedy Night is set for March 28th. The cost is $20.00
per person and seating can be arranged for tables up to 10 people. The
invitation flyer will be going home with students the week of March 10th.
Anyone that would like to volunteer can contact John Kirwan at

From the Advancement
Office:
We are very happy to tell you that we have made and exceeded our fundraising
goal of $25,000. Thank you to everyone for being so generous. We are still
accepting donations until June 30th, so if you haven’t sent yours,
there is still plenty of time to do so.
Student Council Outreach: For the month of March,
the Student Council Outreach project will be collecting for the Food Pantry.
During the week of March 10th through March 14th, they
will be collecting non-perishable food items in order to supplement Easter
supplies of the St.Bridget Food Pantry. They thank you for your anticipated
help.
Paper Request: Thank you so much to all
those who responded to the request for paper made in the Principal’s monthly
letter. Your generosity is much appreciated. It would be terrific if you would
keep us in mind if your business ever changes it’s address and you are left
with unusable stationery.
2008
Penny Drive Results: Congratulations to the
winners of the Penny Drive; Third Prize goes to
Grade 1M, Second to Grade 3B and the Grand Prize winning class is Grade 6. The
total amount raised is $2,190.27. To all those who brought in their change,
Thank You!! To Mr. Paolini for
organizing the drive, collecting and counting the change and tallying up all
the monies received a big THANK YOU!!!! 10%
of the proceeds will go to a charity, yet to be named; and the rest will go to
replace the current surface of the side playground with a softer one.
