D'Angelos orders due Thursday

Lunch with the Principal won at the Auction will take place Mon, Nov 19th @11:30

Last Friday was the First Friday of the month, and as usual, we will be collecting non-perishable food for the Food Pantry. The need is great as they are expecting big crowds this Thanksgiving and Christmas. A lot of the staple items are procured from the Parish Food Drive….so goodies and specialty items are requested:  i.e. cookies, hot chocolate, juices, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal, breakfast bars, snacks  (small packages of goldfish, crackers, etc).
The Student Councilors will bring the items over to the Food Pantry in the name of
Saint Bridget School students. Because the holiday season is upon us any and all contributions to the Food Pantry will be accepted on an ongoing basis for the months of November and December.  The Thanksgiving items should be at the food pantry by November 15th for distribution by the 21st. Thank you for your anticipated generosity!

Innisbrook Orders

The Innisbrook product is scheduled to arrive on Monday, November 5th and will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, November 6th.  Please contact Clare Dykeman if you are unable to either pick up your order or have your child bring it home on the bus by Friday, November 9th.

Thank you again for your support of this important fundraiser.

FYI: Snow Days, Mr. Rick Gallagher, Director of School Transportation, relying largely upon the Dept. of Public Works and the Police Dept., as well as personal observations, will relay by telephone, the condition of the roads, sidewalks and parking areas at the schools to Dr. Gene Thayer, School Superintendent. The Superintendent will make the decision and notify the school principals and the media. If the radio and television say there is no school in Framingham Public Schools, that means there is no school at St.Bridget’s. The only circumstances under which Mrs. Mungovan would make the decision to close the school would be in an emergency specific to St. Bridget School.
In case of snow please do not call
St. Bridget School. Check the radio and television for the announcement regarding Framingham Public Schools.” As far as calling school during the day, the same procedure is followed. Since we depend on the school buses, it is the school bus director and the Superintendent of Schools who make that decision and tell us. Every parent should feel free to determine for themselves whether or not their child should come to school when the weather is questionable.

From the Health Office: Please refer to the attached information page discussing a current news topic relating to skin car
We would like the
Chess Club to continue, but we still need someone to coordinate it. If you can be of help, please call Mrs. Mungovan at school, 508-875-0181.
