During this Holiday Season, Saint Bridget School, as usual, will be collecting non-perishable food  and paper products for the Food Pantry. They have asked that along with the regular items we include some Thanksgiving and Christmas specialty items, i.e. Coffee, Tea, Cookies, Candy, Hot Chocolate and juices. The Student Councilors will bring the items over to the Food Pantry in the name of Saint Bridget School students. Because the holiday season is upon us, any and all contributions to the Food Pantry will be accepted on an ongoing basis for the months of November and December. Thank you for your generosity!

The Student Council of Saint Bridget School has designed a new fun logo for our school and have had it re-created on T-Shirts, Hooded Sweatshirts and flannel Pajama Bottoms just in time for the gift giving season! (see the attached flyer for a picture). The T-Shirt for Grades 6,7,8 is dark green, for Grades K1-5 it is yellow. It may be worn on Gym days (along with the 50th Anniversary T-Shirt). The dark green Hooded Sweatshirt may also be worn on gym days in place of the uniform sweatshirt. The flannel Pajama Bottoms, green/yellow plaid, should be saved for Spirit “dress down” Days (not to be worn on gym days)  So, take a look at the flyer for sizes, prices and directions for ordering. The deadline for ordering is Friday, December 4th, with checks made out to Saint Bridget School.

International Student Exchange Program: This program is such a great opportunity for the children to interact with children from another culture. The time period is January 6th, through February 16th and includes a stipend for the American Families. So far we have had a good response from families interested in hosting Korean Students. If any other families are considering taking part in this student exchange program, please get in touch with Mrs. Mungovan for more information. Thank you!

IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Yes, it’s time once again for Santa’s Secret Shoppe at St. Bridget School. This year, it will be held on December 2, 3 and 4. The class schedule is listed below. We are in need of many volunteers to help the children choose gifts for their loved ones. If you are able to help, please email MaryBeth Budra at sbudra@msn.com  with your availability. Please come for as long or as little as you like. Younger siblings are welcome although babysitting is not provided. Please join us if you can…you will be glad you made time in your busy schedule to witness the true spirit of giving this Christmas season.
