Admissions:

Applications for the 2008-2009 School Year are being accepted. Applications are available by request from the Admissions Office or can be downloaded from our website at www.saintbridgetschool.info (the application must be accompanied by a $50 check, birth and Baptismal certificates).


Health Screenings: Monday, Nov 5th annual screenings will be held during gym periods, they will consist of height, weight, vision and hearing. In addition to these, grades 5 through 8 will also have postural screening.

 Halloween Dress Down Day: On Wednesday, October 31st, Halloween, the children may have an “Orange and Black” dress down  day . If you and they wish them to take part please send them dressed in orange and black clothes and $1 which will be given to a children’s charity.

PUMPKIN GUESSING CONTEST: The Student Council is sponsoring a Pumpkin Guessing Contest. The children will have to guess the combined weight of two pumpkins (donated by Belkin Family Lookout Farm). The winner will received a Halloween Basket. Chances are $.25 each.

 GRANDPARENTS/SPECIAL PERSONS DAY is Thursday November 9th. The schedule will be as follows: Grades K1,K,1,2,3,4, 8:30-9:30; Grades 5-8, 9:45-10:45. This day is for Grandparents/Special Persons ONLY, NO PARENTS OR SIBLINGS. Parents will be invited to their own open house during Catholic Schools Week at the end of January.

Picture re-takes have been scheduled for Monday, Nov 19th
, giving everyone enough time to decide if you wish re-takes or need to have pictures taken for the first time if the children were absent on Sept. 20th. If you are having re-takes taken please make sure the children have their original package of pictures with them the day of re-takes. If you are having first time pictures, the original form is needed, if you don’t have your original form they are available at the office.

Tell your neighbors and friends!! There will be an Open House for prospective families
on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 pm. This Open House has traditionally been very effective at meeting new families and potential students.  We will need parent volunteers, so if you would like to help, please contact Mrs. Mungovan..

October is National Cyer Security Awarness Month.  The National Cyber Security Alliance launches this campaigns in order to increase the public's awareness of cyber security and cyber crime issues.  It also offers tips to keep children safe when they use computers and to protect their data.  By taking some simple steps, you can reduce the threats to your child...... From the Library:

3 weeks until the Christmas Craft Fair Sunday, November 18th from 1:00 to 4:30with special appearances from local authors Barbara McGrath and Paul Greenspan to sign their award winning books. Get your 2007 school ornament for sale available now at the front desk. There are many great raffles to win including a 14lb. stuffed turkey with gravy from Gerard Farms for Thanksgiving dinner.
