gentle reminder: We discourage Fruit Roll-Ups because of the increase in
incidents of dental decay as they stick to the teeth.
· Another
Gentle Reminder: Fall mornings are chilly,
sweaters or light jackets might be a good idea.
Thursday, October 15th is the
day we
change to the regular or winter uniform. No more shorts or skorts which means no
sneakers except for Gym days. Middle Schoolers must wear the Navy sweater or
vest. (Please refer to pgs. 29-37 in the Parent Handbook.) Thank You!
Square
1 Art: The students are in the process of finishing
their artwork for submission to Square 1 Art this week. If you have
received additional squares for siblings, please contact Clare Dykeman at
cdykeman@verizon.net or (508) 620-1348 so she may include these pictures in the
package going to Square 1 Art. All artwork must be submitted at the same
time to maintain the overall delivery date.
The
order packets with the free stickers are scheduled to arrive at the school
towards the end of October.
Friendship
Exchange – Pigs for Pennies: As part of our Friendship Exchange with Ecole du
Village in
The Saint Bridget School Chess Club is starting its 2009-10 year. If you like to play chess, join us on Friday, October 16 after school in the Library. New Members Welcome!!! (see flyer attached)

- CHRISTMAS CRAFT
FAIR NEEDS A FEW CHAIRPERSONS: We are still
looking for a chair (or 2) for the Christmas Craft Fair. If anyone

Consider recruiting a friend to help with this fun event. Many of
the vendors come back each year, so the responsibilities are mostly to
advertise the event and prepare for the day of the Fair.
