From the Business Office:

ü      Please remember that it is your responsibility to know if you are on track for the following year’s In-Parish tuition rate.  If at any time, you need to confirm this information, please call Maria Cole at the rectory, 508-875-5959.  The best time to do this is in January so that if you have any catching up to do, it must be done PRIOR TO March 31st.

ü      The FACTS Grant & Aid Applications for Financial Aid are available as of 1/2/08. Please call Mrs. Sebastian in the Business Office 508-875-5959 or email her at simone@stbridgetparish.org for further information.

Registration 2008-2009: We are accepting Admission Applications for the 2008-2009 school year. For those families that are interested in an Early Registration, there will be an Early Screening for K1 (4 year olds) and Kindergarten (5 year olds) on Monday, January 14th. You need to send in your Admission Application in order to be eligible for the early screening process. The other screening day is scheduled for March 3rd. Applications may be downloaded from our website at www.saintbridgetschool.info or you may call the school. For questions please contact Ms. Nigloschy @x229. . ***screenings are only for students NEW to St. Bridget School. Those already in our school do not need screening (nor do they need to reapply) to move from one year to the next.*** re-registration for current students takes place in the Spring.

K1, K Parents: Please notice in the calendar reminders that Jan. 14th  is a no school day for your children so the teachers might be free to participate in the prospective K1, K students’ screenings.

Second Trimester Interim Reports
: The second interim period ends on Friday the 11th of January.  During the first trimester, interims were sent home with all students, this term interims will be issued only to the students whose marks merit one. The interims will be going home on the 18th of January.

Junior Achievement
- Grades 4-8 will participate again this year in this FREE, corporate sponsored, volunteer program aimed at teaching students how school prepares them for real jobs.  In grade 4 they will study about resources in their region, grade 5 they study about the nation, and this year in grades 6-8 they learn about the global economy.  Some classes will begin this week, ask your child all about it!  Thank you in advance to the many volunteers and teachers who help to support this program.  Questions to Mary Ann Sager at masager5@yahoo.com

Grades K1-3 “Talk About Touching” and Grades 4,5 “Keeping Children Safe” programs will be starting this month, teachers will send letters home to parents describing the upcoming lessons before they begin.
