Giving to Saint Bridget School
Why Give
While tuition covers many expenses, it does not cover the whole student experience at Saint Bridget School. The Archdiocese of Boston does not support or supplement the operating budget of the school, nor do Saint Bridget Church parishioners. On occasion, Saint Bridget Church has opened the tithing to a school project, the fuel fund, for example. Many parishioners have supported the school by sending children to the school. Saint Bridget School is a fully independent institution.
Ways to Support Saint Bridget School
The Saint Bridget School Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is an important source of unrestricted income for the school. Tuition does not cover all expenses associated with the school, and these gifts allow the school to direct funding to areas of greatest need.
The Memorial and Tribute Fund
Donors may make gifts in memory or in honor of loved ones and the Advancement Office staff will send acknowledgments to the appropriate family members about the gifts.
Bequests and Special Gifts
Saint Bridget School welcomes these gifts to sustain the school into the future. As a not-for-profit institution, Saint Bridget School may be named as a full or partial beneficiary in one’s will, life insurance policy, annuity or trust. Our Advancement Office is happy to work with donors and their accountants and attorneys to make these gifts possible.
Special Events & Event Sponsorships
Through the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Saint Bridget School, many special events are held throughout the year to support critical needs for that year, such as computers, classroom supplies and equipment, the lunch program and various other items. Events include Comedy Night, the annual Auction, the annual Golf Tournament and a Dinner Dance. In September 2008, the Office of Advancement in conjunction with the PTO and school leaders will be organizing a 50th Anniversary Gala for the school.
